Big Brother 7: All-Stars Weekly Power Rankings

Alison Irwin Hiding in the Pot

We've been through two episodes and almost a full week of live feeds for BIG BROTHER 7: All-Stars. So, what does that mean? Our first ever edition of the Big Brother HouseGuest Power Rankings!

Where do all the contestants stand? Who has played the game best, thus far? If I had to predict the the winner, right now, who would it be?

1.  Jase Wirey

The first co-Head of Household has played a masterful game so far. Jase has stayed on everyone's good side, gained the trust of the season Sixers, and may or may not have a secret alliance with Diane. The name of the game is flexibility, and Jase has it in spades.

2.  James Rhine

The alumni of Big Brother 6 are a tight-knit group and have an obvious alliance. As a result, they are a target. However, James is the only one of the four that is showing a willingness to branch out. He has made a conscious effort to distance himself from the Sixers. This creates a perfect endgame strategy. If the Sixers are targeted, and get plucked off one by one, James will likely be the last of the four to go, giving him an extra four weeks to make different alliances. If the Sixers make it to the end, James, because of his good relationships with the others, would be the favorite in the final jury vote.

3.  Janelle Pierzina

Co-Head of Household and Power of Veto winner, Janelle is a force to be reckoned with. Yeah, she has a big fat target on her back, but so what? She is loved and feared at the same time, a rare and potent combination. If Janelle stays off the block in the coming weeks, watch out.

4.  Marcellas Reynolds

This is kind of a default seeding for Marcellas. He doesn't have any strong alliances, but recently cut a deal (we saw this on the live feeds) with Janelle. Marcellas promised to (grudgingly) vote out Alison in exchange for Janelle's protection throughout the season.

5.  Kaysar Ridha

Kaysar has shunned the spotlight thus far, not stirring anything up, being as transparent as can be. I believe this is by design. Knowing that his fellow BIG BROTHER Sixers will be targeted, he has allowed Janelle and Howie to take the limelight.

6.  Diane Henry

The best-looking woman on the show (sorry Janelle, sometimes your face looks like those hideous models that Jack Nicholson's “Joker” created in Tim Burton's “Batman”) has done her best to fly under the radar. She is likable, and since no one really sees her as a threat, Diane isn't really a candidate to be nominated. Couple that with what may be a secret alliance with Jase, and we might have our BIG BROTHER 7: All-Stars dark horse.

7.  “Boogie” Mike Malin

Boogie has matured since he last appeared on BIG BROTHER and the contestants seem to like him. However, it's clear that however far he gets depends on the motivation of Dr. Will, only going as far as the Evil Doctor decides to take him.

8.  Erika Landin

Erika has been an interesting HouseGuest. She hasn't seemed interested in the strategy of the game and has spent most of her time making friends with Janelle. Of course, it's entirely possible that this is expert game play, just a ploy to get in with Janelle and the Sixers, but I don't think so. It seems genuine to me.

9.  Howie Gordon

Say what you will about Howie, but he's a character. Unless you've seen him in action, his mannerisms cannot be explained. However, therein lies the problem. His act may entertain the HouseGuests for a few weeks, but sooner or later, he's going to get on someone's nerves.

10.  Dr. Will Kirby

My favorite Big Brother contestant ever. Hands down. He goes through the days insulting people ( usually hilariously so) and acting completely petulant towards the entire Big Brother process. On the live feeds, he has been saying that he cannot make it past week five because he has obligations at home. Of course, if this is true, it has severe ramifications on the game. My guess: it's just another genius strategy. Regardless, being the only former winner on BIG BROTHER 7: All-Stars, Will has absolutely no chance of winning the final jury vote, unlikely as it is that he'll get that far.

11.  Jennifer “Nakomis” Dedmont

Nakomis is the one true outcast is the house, her only pal being Diane (though I expect Diane has ulterior motives regarding that friendship). She is already in Howie's cross-hairs, for seemingly vague reasons, and I can't see her making it to sequester.

12.  Danielle Reyes

Danielle is nominated, but it seems a foregone conclusion that she'll be staying. However, her outlook is bleak. Marcellas (still bitter about Dani orchestrating his eviction on season 3) will make a play to get her both nominated and evicted and, given his in with the Big Brother Sixers, that shouldn't take long to conspire.

13.  “Chicken” George Boswell

George is just here for the ride. Really. He is kind of an old buffoon and you can see why the CBS producers chose him for the show. He's a joke. Whether it's getting lost in the house or snoring at a preposterously high decibel level, “Chicken” is there for the comic relief. That being said, once his use as “floater” has exhausted itself, look for George to be promptly booted from the house.

14.  Alison Irwin

Alison will be voted out tonight. I know it. Everyone in the house knows it. Ali has turned into a certified crazy person. Two nights ago, she hid in a pot in the backyard, pillows covering her, for two hours. TWO HOURS! IN A GARDEN POT! Too bad that exercise in spying won't pay you any dividends. Goodbye, Alison.
