Late last week, Early Show anchor, Big Brother host and wife of the President of CBS Julie Chen revealed the names and bios of the 14 people who will be sequestered for the summer with their every move recorded.  Chen also announced the main twist of the new season: some guests will be placed in the house with their worst enemy.

The season starts off Thursday, July 5 at 8pm.  Here’s a brief look at the 13 who will vie for the top prize:

Amber, 27, a single Las Vegas cocktail waitress who speaks proudly about her ability to get in close with people. "People just tend to love me. And I'm very charming,” she said.   “And I'm a little weasel and you don't even know it.”


Nick, 25, a Minnesota-native who thinks he can charms the pants off the ladies in the house.  He will likely have a physical advantage in the house, as he used to play college football.


Jen, 23, a single, self-professed computer nerd.  Before passing judgment, she also lives in Beverly Hills, CA and works as a nanny and bikini model.



Dick, 44, the oldest person in the house, “Evil Dick,” as he likes to call himself, is a single Los Angeles bar manager.  "Manipulating girls is kind of a way of life for me," he said, hoping that will help him win the game.

Jessica, 21, a single Kansan who is currently attending college. When asked about whether she can be trusted, she said, "I'm loyal until you backstab me, and then I'm your worst enemy, so watch out.”


Joe, 23, an outgoing Chicago receptionist.  At 6 feet, 4 inches, he should tower over other houseguests, and when he was introduced to America, he proudly stated, "What's gay and has two thumbs?" while pointing to himself.


Kail, 37, a conservative mother and wife from Oregon.  She owns her own business, and maye have trouble relating to the younger and single people she’ll be sharing a house with.


Jameka, 28, from Maryland, she’s in it to win it, participating solely for the cash.  A school counselor who has grown up nearly always surrounded by black people, she might find it weird being the sole minority in the house.


Eric, 27, is another cut-throat competitor not afraid to, well, cut people’s throats. "I have a charisma that will rally people behind me. And when I start cutting people's throats, they'll never see it coming," he said.  Eric works in New York City as a talent management assistant.

Zach, 30, Florida State University graduate, Zach is now a single graphic designer living in California.



Daniele, 20, a bright-eyed California single girl, who happens to work at Hooters as a waitress.



Mike, 26, a single Wisconsin guy, he works as a painting contractor.




Dustin, 22, a single Chicago resident who feels his career in sales will help him interact with his competitors.  "I am a salesman. So I'm pretty good at selling things. Including myself. To complete strangers,” he said.


Carol, 21, another single student from Kansas, with little else information provided.
