Shortly after Jerry dropped out of the Head of Household (HoH) competition, Memphis drops out as well but not before engaging in a little banter with Dan to make Jerry think that they are not together. Consequently, Dan wins the first part of the final HoH.
Around 8pm, Dan and Memphis continue to play their hostility game. Memphis tells Dan not to go overboard so they can be believable. The plan is to act angry at each other so Jerry feels safe with both of them. They don't want Jerry competing at his best and he may even be willing to throw it to Memphis. Later, they discuss coming up with a signal for the second part of the HoH. Dan tells Memphis to take two handkerchiefs, one black and one red, just in case Dan can’t watch the competition. He tells Memphis to come out wearing the red if he won and black if he lost. Dan tells him not to play tricks on him and wear black after winning but Memphis tells him that he doesn’t do antics because that’s Dan’s thing. They also talk about trying to get Jerry to throw the next competition.
Dan heads out and tells Jerry that next time he offers him dinner and turns it down to call him crazy. (Earlier, Jerry offered Dan some burgers but he refused. On the other hand, it’s a good thing that Dan declined Jerry’s burger as he made them using his hands after sneezing and didn’t even wash.) Dan goes on to tell Jerry that Keesha was really classy when she went out of the house and that he really liked her. Jerry agrees and mentions that out of all people in the house, Keesha treated him the nicest.
