Feeds revert to trivia shortly after midnight as the jury members take turns grilling Dick and Daniele. When feeds return a little after 1:30am, Daniele is in the bathroom while Dick is outside, smoking and saying, “I don't think I did anything wrong. It's not like I was campaigning to beat her. I didn't think I could win or make her happy with anything I did or said. Great! Something else for her to be pissed of at me about. Unbelievable. How did I not know she would be pissed off at me? No winning, no winning, it's always a catch-22 with Daniele."

After a while, Dick heads to the tall beds room to speak with his daughter. He apologizes to her and says that he didn’t mean to come off the way he did. She shouts that she can’t be her own person. It seems that most, if not all, the questions alluded to her flying under the radar and allowing her dad to do all the dirty work for her. She tells Dick that she didn’t appreciate him claiming that he has had the hardest game. She is completely annoyed and states that she is so over this house and simply wants to get out. On the verge of tears, Daniele goes to the bathroom to cry. When she returns to the bedroom, Dick says “I’m sorry Daniele” before going outside. Dick mutters that it’s going to be a long, f*cking couple of days.

At 4am, Dick continues mumbling about the latest bungle in his relationship with Daniele. He now seems convinced that in her eyes, it has been predetermined that he will forever say and do the wrong things. He believes that he didn’t say anything wrong and is sick of beating himself up over it. He feels that regardless of what he may have said, she would always find a way to perceive it as bad.

"Everything in my G*dd*mn life is a G*dd*mn catch-22,” Dick goes on reciting. She's ready for this to be over? She's been ready for this to be over since week three. And that's all she's said, over and over and over and over. She doesn't appreciate anything. It's not my fault. I refuse. I'm not going to feel bad. It's no fair man. No fair. I should be f*cking celebrating. Against anybody else I would be. No fair. It's no fair. She couldn't get out from under my shadow. Is that my fault? Questions about her personal life. Is that my fault? No, no, no. I told her... (sighs) would she listen?"

Three hours later at 7am, Dick launches into another edition of his frustrated soliloquy about the state of his daughter’s mind and their perpetually fragile relationship.

"There is no pleasure...If I win, there will be no pleasure in beating my daughter. There's no pleasure in beating her. There would be if I beat Zach or any other of those other motherf*ckers. She comes off so tough [as if] she has all of her shit together, all of 21, such a fragile little girl, no matter what a pain in the a** she is. She'll never see it for what it is."

Tired, lost and dejected, Dick finally turns in at 7:30am.

Just under 12 hours later, at a few minutes before 7pm, Dick starts a fire in the oven when he accidentally incinerates some taco shells. Big Brother (BB) calls for an outdoor lockdown while production ascertains that the blaze has been completely put out.
