Zach emerges from his Head of Household (HoH) hidey hole a little after 10am and goes downstairs to tell Jameka that he has a few questions and would like to speak with her upstairs. Jameka replies that she will follow in a few minutes. In the bathroom, Dick asks Daniele where the “pervert panty muncher” (referring to Zach, also known as the ogre or Shrek) is. Daniele tells him he is hiding in his HoH domain. Dick confides that he was told in the diary room (DR) not to use the “N” racist word when he attacks Zach. Earlier, Dick had mentioned on camera that he plans on calling Zach out as a racist, using statement/s he claims Zach has previously made to support his name-calling. He had also warned the camera folks not to keep following him around or the feeds will be riddled with the racist comment accusation thing.

At a quarter to 11am, Dick tells Daniele that he will ask Jameka how it feels to be conspiring with a racist. He’ll tell her that that’s mighty white of her. Daniele snickers at her father’s plan. Dick seems rather worked up and reminds Daniele to bring her gloves out to ensure that she doesn’t forget them for the Power of Veto (PoV) competition. She assures him she won’t.

Dick wonders why Big Brother (BB) hasn’t announced how long they have until the contest commences. At some point, Daniele asks her dad who they should focus on in case the competition involves having to take someone out. Dick tells her to get rid of Zach. Daniele remarks that they should still keep an eye on Jameka. Dick assures her that they won’t allow her to slide her way to victory. Dick pipes that if they don’t win the PoV, then one of them really deserves to be sent home. Daniele implores him not to say that but Dick points out that it’s true. He cites that there is no reason why they shouldn’t prevail. He adds that this is the day they win half a million dollars.

Upstairs, Zach keeps saying “That b*stard is not going to win today.” He also encourages himself by saying he will definitely not choke today. Jameka soon joins him and the two of them start praying, giving thanks, praising, glorifying and asking for strength and perseverance.

At half past 11am, BB announces that the PoV tournament will begin in 90 minutes. Dick and Daniele decide to try and get some sleep or at least rest. Jameka and Zach opt for quizzing each other on facts and dates during the season. Dick eventually gives up on chilling out and moves into the HoH room to listen to some music. Jameka and Zach relocate downstairs as Dick launches into some extremely loud head banging listening. Jameka and Zach remark that they have never known anyone who listens to music that loud. The volume must be really high on the decibel scale if Jameka and Zach can hear it all the way down in the kitchen.

Around 1:20pm, Dick finally finishes his “rocking out” in the HoH quarters. He doesn’t appear to have worked out enough of his adrenalin as he remains totally hyped. He keeps telling Daniele that they have one more competition and they can win this entire game right here and now. Dick is super wired, jumping, cussing and bouncing all over the place. By 2pm, everyone is eager to get the PoV contest underway. The extended wait is simply killing them.

Finally, feeds go down a little after 2:30pm and stay that way for nearly two hours.
