Just before 11pm, Dick decides that his swollen feet and aching legs need a dip in the hot tub. Daniele has long been in bed, claiming she’s not feeling well. While soaking in the soothing water of the pool/tub, Dick looks into the camera and wonders, “Do you think I have a snowball’s chance in hell with Janelle? I sure hope so." Then he gives a shout-out to his son Vincent, saying, "I wonder who will win the game...one thing’s for sure, it will be a Donato! You hear that Vincent? If you're watching, I want you to know I love you and miss you. I can't wait to see you."

By 12:20am, both Dick and Daniele are snoozing in their respective beds. Four hours later, Dick is up and playing solitaire in the kitchen. By 4:45am, Daniele has also risen and followed the scent of bacon and eggs cooking in the kitchen. Twenty minutes later, father and daughter sit down to eat their very early breakfast. Dick inquires whether she woke up because she went to bed so early last night. Daniele grumpily responds “That and I don’t feel good. And you were loud.” Daniele is back asleep before 7am as Dick stays outside, smoking.

At half past three in the afternoon, Dick is finally awake – again. He bumps into Daniele in the bathroom as he is drying off from his shower. He asks what time she got up and she says around noon. He compliments her on her hair, which he says looks nice (Daniele had curled it earlier). She thanks him for the flattering remark. He asks if everything is alright. Daniele mutters “uh huh.”

Around 4pm, Dick checks in on Daniele in the tall beds room. He asks her if she’s OK and she replies, “I told you, I don’t feel good.” He asks if he can do anything but she says no. Dick tells her to let him know if there is before proceeding to the storage room.

An hour later, Dick returns to the tall beds room and says, “It's 5:00, do you feel any better?" Daniele says “uh, uh.” He asks if she’s taken any Midol and she says no. He offers to give her some food, a drink, a backrub. She refuses all of them.

At 8pm, Dick comes into the kitchen from the backyard and says hello to Daniele. He again asks how she is and offers to make her something to eat. She doesn’t want anything and remarks that she just wants this to be over with. Dick notes that they’ve got four hours. She whines that that’s a long time. Dick recommends a game of cards to pass the time. Begrudgingly, Daniele sits down with her dad to a session of War.

Dick makes occasional attempts at conversing with Daniele, who seems only willing to manage single word responses. By 11:15pm, both Donatos are in bed, awaiting the jury questioning which they’ve been told, will commence in 45 minutes. A few minutes shy of midnight, Dick and Daniele are both seated on the chairs across the nomination couch. Daniele remarks, “This is awkward, I don't want to talk to any of them…We evicted them. It should be over.”
