Just before five in the afternoon, Daniele heads to the backyard to join her father after her session in the diary room (DR). They start off, discussing what past houseguests (HG) from previous seasons may have thought of Jen. Dick believes they would have voted her out sooner than their group did. Daniele remarks that it would have been nice to have the Diamond Veto. Dick comments that this is the first year that Big Brother (BB) has failed to add something new. Daniele thinks it’s because there was too much drama in the house.

Dick tells Daniele that he invited (I presume for the wrap party) his mom, Vincent and a guy named Mike, who is the lead singer of the group, Suicidal Tendencies. He says he and Mike have become pretty good friends in the last two years. Daniele remains unimpressed so Dick adds that Vincent has met the guy but Daniele, in her usual bratty manner, snaps, "So what! I'm sorry but I'm not into them, I'm not just like you! Sorry we don't have anything in common. Ugh! I am so over this!"

Dick leaves momentarily before coming back with a candy bar, which he offers to Daniele, saying he had saved it for her. Daniele tells him she doesn’t want it, so Dick tells her he’s going to eat it, which he proceeds to do. Daniele leaves, huffing her way to the couch just outside the Head of Household (HoH) room to stare at the ceiling. Outside, Dick mumbles, “We've spent too much time together, we need some time apart. Not two years, but a couple of days."

At half past 6pm, as father and daughter prepare their dinner, they talk about the wrap party and plans for a vacation after the contest is finally over. Dick says he can’t wait to plan their trip and mentions that they could end up spending $2,000 on a plane ticket to Minnesota. Daniele asks him who said she wanted to go there. Dick tells her she did and that it’s even on tape. He then asks her where she’s going on her first trip but Daniele refuses to tell him. He volunteers that he would like to visit Norway or Sweden, where it’s bound to be cold. He adds that he would also like to go on an African safari and wonders if that might also be on her agenda. Daniele says no, it is not.

Frustrated, Dick asks if she’s ever going to talk to him. Daniele whines and says, “what?!” Dick explains that he can’t seem to ask her anything. Dick announces that he will definitely take Vincent to a Jets game in the Big Apple and adds that maybe he’ll pay Eric a visit if Eric isn’t too mad at him. He would also like to catch a Yankees match while he’s there in New York. Daniele asks her dad what he would do if he ever bumped into Jen outside. Dick replies that he’ll probably pretend not to see her but Jen would most likely call out to him, saying EVEL.
