At a quarter to 10 in the morning, a loud crash shatters the silence of sleep prevailing over the Big Brother (BB) house that has become somewhat of a ghost home with only the Donatos left in it. Seems like someone in the production crew may have fallen so Dick asks whether they are alright. The unexpected noise effectively rouses Dick from his sleep and he decides to give the game solitaire a whirl. The camera is practically glued to him despite his repeated admonitions for them to leave him alone. Dick realizes the crew must be really bored now that they’re stuck with nobody else but him.

Interestingly enough, the cameraman/men appear intent on assisting Dick with his card game, making distinct noises when they approve or disapprove of his moves. Dick decides to play along and follow their suggestions. Dick throws out the question of how mad his mother must be with him by now and the camera signals to answer yes. At some point, while still working on his solitaire game, Dick says "God I love my daughter. Always have, always will. If she's talking to me or if she isn't."

Dick is positively beaming, yelling “$550,000! We won it all. We won everything, not just part, first and second! It doesn't even seem real, not at all. Seems like another day... just with less people here. $550,000. $550,000. Oh my God!" He announces that he’ll make pancakes for breakfast and fish for dinner. He mutters, “Ah, I love you Daniele. You rule baby girl,” as he prepares himself a sandwich. He can’t believe what a summer this has turned out to be.

After finishing his sandwich and attempting to search for his misplaced drink, Dick returns to his round bed to resume sleeping.

By 1pm, both Dick and Daniele are awake and complaining of how sore their bodies feel. Dick brings out the vacuum and declares that he’s not going to miss that particular task. Two hours later, Daniele is back in bed. At half past 3pm, Dick is summoned to the diary room (DR) and stays there until 4pm, at which point it is Daniele’s turn.
